Stuart Park

 

Stuart Park was born in Preston, Lancashire County (England) in 1946. He holds a degree in Romance Philology from the University of Cambridge, and a doctorate in Spanish Literature from Temple University in Philadelphia (USA). Collaborating with the University's Christian Union, he dedicated his summers in Spain to the international mission Operation Mobilization. Between 1967 and 1971 he participated, together with David F. Burt, in the beginnings of the University Bible Groups (GBU) in Madrid.
In 1981, he founded
Warwick House, a linguistic-cultural centre, and in 1996 he became director of the International School of Valladolid, until his retirement in 2012. 
A member of the Executive Committee for more than twenty years, he served as president of the GBU from 1987 to 1997. Since 1996, Stuart Park has been director of
Alétheia, the theological magazine of the Spanish Evangelical Alliance. He has published numerous articles in the magazines Alétheia, Andamio and Edificación Cristiana. Author of several books on biblical themes, he was awarded the Jorge Borrow Award for Biblical Dissemination in 2015. 
Since 1976, he has been a member of the evangelical church located at 38 Olmedo Street in Valladolid.
