David Burt, renowned Bible teacher and expositor. He studied at Oxford, where he received a degree in Romance Philology. He arrived in Spain with Operación Mobilización in 1966. Burt was General Secretary of the Grupos Bíblicos Universitarios from 71 to 78, when he moved to Barcelona and pastored the church in c/Verdi for almost fifteen years. He continues to be fully dedicated to teaching and literary tasks, ministries in which he had Margarita Lafrey, his wife since 1971. His first works circulated as a duplicator among university students and readers of Andamio magazine in its first stage and now in the "Collection Scaffolding", of the Grupos Bíblicos Universitarios (GBU), of which books such as 'And how will they believe?', 'Being a Christian today' or 'We can trust the New Testament' are part. Among his goals is to write a complete commentary on the New Testament in 160 volumes, of which several volumes have already been published.
