Timothy was born in England. He studied law at Oxford University and taught for two years in a private school before moving to Spain as a missionary in 1972. He was mentored in his early years in Madrid by Ernesto Trenchard, Pablo Wickham and Juan Solé, among other brothers. In 1976 he married Elena Gil and together they have served the Lord in churches in Madrid, Marin and Salamanca. After his retirement in 2016, they returned to Marín, where they currently continue to serve the Lord in different ways. He has had the privilege of teaching the Word of God as an occasional teacher in IBSTE, EET, CEFB and  Proyecto Éfeso (Project Ephesus),  and being involved in other ministries such as Taller de predicación (Preaching Workshop) and Unión Bíblica (Bible Union), as well as developing a ministry of the Word in several local churches in different areas of Spain.
