Marian Rojas Estapé

 

 

Marian Rojas Estapé, daughter of the psychiatrist and writer Enrique Rojas and the notary and university professor Isabel Estapé, is the most sought-after Spanish psychiatrist and writer in the media. Considered a publishing phenomenon never seen before, two of her books: "How to make good things happen to you" and "Find your vitamin person", have become true global best sellers, translated into more than 20 languages and published in more than 40 countries, elevating its author to the top of scientific and psychological dissemination in Spain.

Marian began her Medicine degree at the Universidad Complutense de Madrid, completing it at the Universidad de Navarra (2007). After finishing her degree, she specialized in Psychiatry.

Before starting her professional career in psychiatry, she collaborated with the NGO 'Por la Sonrisa de un niño' (For the Smile of a Child), working with children from the garbage dump of Phnom Penh (Cambodia); and taught classes at a school in the Bronx (New York). She also continues to collaborate with the Somaly Mam foundation in the fight against sex trafficking in Cambodia.

In 2012, she moved to London for a year to work at a hospital in the British capital, conducting research in the field of somatization. The following year, she was appointed a guest professor at the IPADE Business School (Mexico).

She works at the Spanish Institute of Psychiatric Research. She is the founder of the Ilussio Business and Emotions project on emotions, motivation, and stress in the business world.

In June 2023, she was appointed ambassador of the Spanish NGO Manos Unidas at its headquarters in Madrid. 

Without giving a religious guideline, but exposing the benefits of taking care of spiritual health, the profession united with the faith of Dr. Marian Rojas has managed to find the social key of what people need in a time of great confusion.
