Josep Araguàs is a psychologist, with a degree in Clinical Psychology from the Universidad de Barcelona, a Master's in Family Therapy from the University of Andover, Newton (USA), and a postgraduate degree in Family Therapy from the Cambridge Family Institute, also in the USA.

He privately practices Psychology in Barcelona, in areas such as clinical psychology, couples and family therapy. He is also a speaker at conferences and seminars related to psychological outreach topics. Araguàs has also written several books.
