Jordan hailed from Perth Hills and grew up loving the outdoors together with his three brothers. He studied chemical engineering and graduated from Curtin University.
Jordan Thyer worked as a chemical engineer before moving to the UK to study at the Oxford Centre for Christian Apologetics (OCCA). Returning to Australia, Jordan completed a MDiv at Trinity Theological College while working as a youth minister and then teaching pastor.
Studying chemical engineering further prompted him to consider if Christianity was intellectually credible. The outcome of his subsequent investigation was that Christianity was not only credible, but it also gave satisfying answers to the deeper questions of life.
