John Parmiter's night job in a bar gave no indication of the great things he would one day achieve. Nowadays, he is a partner of consultancy Peter Brett Associates, in the planning, development and economics business group. He is based in central London. He is also a qualified mediator, a workplace speaker for the London Institute for Contemporary Christianity, and a long-standing member of Holy Trinity, Brompton, where he is involved in "The Marriage Course" and has led Alpha groups for over 25 years.
