Hugh Norman Ross is a Canadian astrophysicist, Christian apologist, and creationist.

Ross earned his PhD in Astrophysics from the University of Toronto and his Bachelor of Physics from the University of British Columbia. He is known for establishing a ministry in 1986, called Reasons to Believe, which promotes the progressive forms of creationism on ancient Earth. Ross accepts the scientific age of earth and the scientific age of the universe, yet he rejects unguided evolution and abiogenesis as explanations of the history and origin of life.

In 2012, he won the Texas A&M University Trotter Prize for his work 'Theistic Implications for Big Bang Cosmology'.
