Gerald R. McDermott

 

Gerald R. McDermott is the Anglican Professor of Divinity at Beeson Divinity School and teaches in the areas of history and doctrine. He is the author, co-author or editor of many books.
His academic research focus has been three-fold:
Jonathan Edwards, Christian understandings of other religions, and the meaning of Israel. Prior to joining Beeson, he was the Jordan-Trexler Professor of Religion at Roanoke College since 2008 and on the faculty since 1989. An Anglican priest, he is associate pastor at Christ the King Anglican Church.
