Francis J. Beckwith
Francis J. Beckwith is an American philosopher, born in Brooklyn, New York, and raised in Las Vegas, Nevada. He is a graduate of Bishop Gorman High School and is currently a Professor of Philosophy and Church-State Studies at Baylor University. He is also the Associate Director of the Graduate Program in Philosophy and an Affiliated Professor of Political Science at the same university. Beckwith is known for his work in the areas of religion, jurisprudence, politics, and ethics.
He is also the author of several books, such as "Defending Life: A Moral and Legal Case Against Abortion Choice," "Return to Rome: Confessions of an Evangelical Catholic," "Politics For Christians: Statecraft As Soulcraft," and "Never Doubt Thomas: The Catholic Aquinas as Evangelical and Protestant."
