Adriana Valerio is an Italian historian and theologian. For over thirty years, engaged in finding sources and testimonies for the reconstruction of women's memory in the history of Christianity. Among the first Italian graduates in theology, she posed the question of the history of female exegesis at the end of the 1980s, becoming one of the most recognized experts in the field. She is the author of numerous essays and lectures in Italy and abroad (Switzerland, Germany, Belgium, Sweden, Spain, France, United Kingdom, Netherlands, Hungary, Czech Republic, Bulgaria, Austria, Cuba). She is currently one of the general coordinators of the "Bible and women" project.
